Continuation of the study of literary forms of genres, exemplified this time by selected literary texts from barious countries, written in different periods in history.

     The general objective of the course is to make the student appreciate the bradth and depth of literatures in other countries. The course also aims to deepen the student's understanding of the different literary genres. By the end of the course, the student must have read representative literary texts from all continents and from all literary peroids. The student must have written a term paper of at least five pages analyzing one literary text written by an author born in a Southeast Asian Country (not in the Philippines)
