Throw your head back, child,
and receive the stars.
At first sight,
they all sting and chill you,
and then the sky rocks.
like a cradle that they balance,
and at a loss, you give up,
like something carried away and away.
God touches down to take us
into the nebula of his life;
he falls into the star-filled sky
like a waterfall set free.
Descend, descend into heaven's Carriage.
It is going to arrive and it never does...
It comes down incessantly
and stops halfway
for love and the fear of love
that breaks or blinds us.
While it is en route,
We rejoice
and we cry when it leaves.
And one day the carriage doesn't stop.
It continues to descend and draws you near,
and you feel the live wheel -
the fresh wheel touches your heart.
Then rise without fear,
with a single leap to the wheel,
singing and crying exultantly
with the One who takes you and carries you away!
